Commerce Elementary School’s STEM Club is dedicated to empowering students to be independent problem-solvers.  Students will work cooperatively with their peers on science, technology, engineering, and math activities which will require them to be constructive, creative, and think strategically.  The STEM Club will meet after school from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm approximately twice a month.  Members are required to attend all meetings.  Each student will be allowed to miss 1 meeting per semester.  Students must be on time for meetings.  More than 1 tardy or late pick up will jeopardize the student’s standing in the club.

Criteria for being chosen to be a member of the STEM Club:

The student must have the ability to work well with others, good attendance, good academic standing, and adhere to the Commerce City Schools Student Code of Conduct. **STEM Club members will be chosen based on the criteria listed above.  Your child will receive an official invitation with more information if chosen to be a member of the STEM Club.

Membership Dues: The cost to join the STEM club is $25.  This fee will include a STEM Club T-shirt and will cover the cost of materials.
