After some crazy winter weather, we are officially back for a full week! There is always a lot going on in our schools so we have compiled them together in a high level view. We hope this is a good resource for our families as we navigate a busy Spring.

Good Afternoon! As previously communicated, we will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow. CES doors will open for students at 9:00. Students should be in class by 9:30. Breakfast will not be served. If your child rides the bus, you should add 2 hours to their typical pick-up time (ex. typical time is 6:30- tomorrow the time will be 8:30). Dismissal will occur at the regular time. CPS/CES After School Program will be open.

Your feedback is important to us and the future planning of our School Improvement Plan. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey. https://survey.gadoe.org/FM?sid=B9CBD9E8

Getting ready for another great week at CPS. Here is another easy way to view the week. Feel free to save it to your phone for reference. It is also located on our website. We hope you find this to be a helpful tool.

The Book Fair is a GREAT time to donate to our Books-giving benefitting the children of WNC. If you purchase a book to donate, make sure you write a note while you are in the library and leave it in the donation bin. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

We have had around 150 books donated for our Books-giving & Blessings! Some of the books contain sweet messages from the families that brought them in, but for some of the books purchased through our Amazon Wish List, we asked Mrs. Brown’s 4th Graders to write encouraging notes inside.
The children of Western North Carolina are going to love these gifts!
We need 500 books, so keep the donations coming!

Please consider donating to our Books-giving. We are collecting books for the children in WNC who were devastated by Hurricane Helene. Many lost everything. There are a few ways to donate. CES has a book fair opening TOMORROW. They will be collecting books there. You can also access an Amazon wishlist through the QR Code, or simply just bring in a NEW book to school. Thank you!

Time to set up your e-wallet! The book fair starts TOMORROW!
